Train-The-Trainer Workshop

The Intel SFI Train-The-Trainer (TTT) program enables educators, partners, and local implementation agencies to support the deployment Intel SFI programs in local education systems. The training familiarizes prospective trainers with the resources available within each Intel SFI program – the Intel SFI Starter Pack program and Intel SFI Professional Development Suite, equipping them to provide strong support and guidance to educators on completion.

Sonia Friscia

Sonia Friscia is an educator at the Ovington School in Brooklyn, New York. She is a new teacher who has been working with special education and general education fifth graders for the last two years in a variety of subjects. Her main areas of focus are reading, math and science. Sonia has been working with Intel’s Skills for Innovation program since January, 2021. Her class has really enjoyed learning the implicit relationships between coding language and real-world impact, especially when it comes to nature and wildlife. “I love that intel’s program heightens the importance of learning, by incorporating the real-world issues kids hear about every day from parents or even on the news. However, Intel is different from other programs because our students walk away saying, ‘I’ve created a real solution, and I can make a difference in the world if I work hard enough.’
